TRIP DESCRIPTION: This trip in Kamchatka of Russia Trekking permits to explore the area in the world with the largest number of active vulcans distributed on a peninsula long nearly as Italy, sorrounded by seas and localized in the most easter area of Russia. The climate of the period in which we propose the trip, June, July, September, is more than acceptable. The temperature can variate between Celsius 15 and 25 during the day and 5 to 15 during the night. At this latitude, in this period of the year, there is mostly of the sun light and when the first shirt nights are coming also the possibility to see aurora borealis. The starting point it is about at 1,0 hours of helicopter form Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky base of pacific Russian Fleet.
The trip is proposed initially in rafting to move with a moderate physical effort in a area of the world with no roads at all. It is possible to see any kind of wildlife that comes to the river to drink and food. The itinerary is made with special inflatable catamarans with high safety standards. The way it is initially is on river Opal then there is a change on two alternative rivers Vershinskaya or Zhupanova. During the last two days, back to the city, there are two great excursions. One day we will flight by helicopter to see very near the CALDERE of the vulcans and the geysers valley having a bath in the thermal springs. In the second day the excursion will be done in the Pacific Ocean. In case of bad weather or military trainings of nuclear submarines the group will go at the thermal springs of Paratunskiye.
Professional fishing equipment will be available for fishing what is strictly necessary for the dinner around the fireplace at the night camp. The team assistant will take care of any need of the trip as navigation, camp setup and cooing. For safety will be available a satellite phone.
The trip is indicated for explorers in good health conditions that can adapt to live in a environment totally wild with extreme rare opportunity to meet other people. Conditions, not extreme, but that need a total adapting to the nature of the area.

|Program description and rafting schedule:||The grpup flies from Moscow to Petropavlosk-Kamchatsky during the night. In the early morning pass through passport control e tourint permits to visit this area. From the same airport the group restart with a helicopter Mi-8 to Yelizovo village in about one hour. During the flight the Viluchinsky volcano, volcano Gorely and Mutnovsky volcano, Opala and Khodutka are seen. These volcanoes are located in the southern part of the volcanic plateau of Kamchatka. A helicopter flies around close Vilyuchinskaya hill (2173?) and Mutnovskaya Volcano (2322?). On the way the Bay of Avacha Gulf of the Pacific ocean is seen.|
|At the beginning first 40 km of rafting river with a width of 15-20 meters is quite fast, sporting and has a lot of spawning areas and pools in which salmon fish feeds The category of difficulty – 2, with elements 3-4. Frequent stops and wiring of ships manually on small sections of the river and in areas where the river splits into several channels. The water in the river (if there is no rain of the flood) is crystal clear and the fish is perfectly visible. The rivers are home to grayling, coho salmon, Chinook salmon, rainbow trout (rainbow trout), pink salmon, chum salmon and Arctic char – all of these fish of the salmon family.|
|Gradually the river due to the flowing in her streams and rivers is expanding its valley becomes shallower and wider. The flow velocity decreases and braids appear along the banks. On the shores trodden trails of brown bears that walk along the water's edge in search of salmon. Often they can be seen on the sandbars and spits, when they catch fish.|
|Rafting is held in a four-seater inflatable catamarans are a special design that eliminates accidents. Tourists for safety are supplied with helmets and life jackets. All overnight stays in the alloy in modern, comfortable tents. Cooking cook over a campfire. Every evening around a campfire for dinner group gathering for socializing and sharing experiences and emotions, songs and dances. |Rafting along the Opal river ends in the plains in the area of the of the river Savan. The helicopter picks up the group and transports through the ridge of Balaganchik on the river Vershinskaya or the river Zhupanova. On the starboard side, the tourists will be able to see the volcano Zhupanovskaya hill. On the left will be seen the top of the Easten ridge. In 1 day the helicopter will take the group from the river and takes on volcanic yard volcano Zhupanovsky hill in ice zone. Half an hour for photographing and then the helicopter delivers the group to the airport Yelizovo.|
|From helicopter all tourists can clearly see the bears walking across the tundra zone of the volcanic plateau. After rafting next day excursion to the famous Valley of Geysers in Kronotsky reserve from Petropavlovsk- Kamchatskiy. This area is closed for public individual visits. Possible only with arranged tours. The participants are able to see the following volcano from helicopter: Avachinsky and Koryaksky, Zhupanovsky and Kronotsky, Kikhpinych and Krasheninnikov.|
|Within three hours, tourists will be able to see several geysers of varying intensity of the eruption, fumaroles and mud baths. In the program schedule included an additional day in case of delays due to inclement weather.|
|On this day the group will make a sea tour the Pacific ocean by a boat. Fishing and enjoying bird colony on the cliffs of the Bering sea. If access to the sea is closed due to bad weather or withdrawal of the nuclear submarine of the Avacha Bay into the ocean – the band will make a tour to paratunskiye thermal springs – the healing bathing in warm natural water of different temperatures.|
|Day 1||09.55 Arrival in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky from Moscow. (The flight from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is 8, 5 hours). Meeting at the airport and transfer to helicopter port. On the starboard side, the tourists will be able to see the volcano Zhupanovskaya hill. On the left will be seen the top of the Easten ridge. 12.00 Rafting. 14.00 – Lunch (lunch boxes). 15.00 - Continue flouting , fishing. 20.00 – Dinner. Overnight in the camp.|

|Day 7||9.00 – Breakfast 10.00 – Helicopter takes the group from the last point of rafting. The helicopter will fly over several volcanoes and make two or three landings on radon hot springs at the foot of an active volcano, with lava flows and the Caldera of the volcano Zhupanovsky hill. In the springs participants can swim. 14.00 – Lunch. (Lunch boxes) Return to Petropavlovs-Komchatskiy. Transfer to the hotel. Rest. 19.00 Dinner Overnight at the hotel.|
